Introduction

Experimental Biology promotes curiosity and ingenuity, and will provide a foundational understanding of basic biological principles, laboratory techniques, and scientific writing. This experience will foster an understanding of the methods of scientific investigation and further develop scientific minds. Through this course students will be expected to plan and perform experiments, read the biology text independently, write formal laboratory reports, analyze data and account for errors in the lab, and complete a presentation that will include their understanding of investigation and showcase their ability to embed formal scientific thoughts and vocabulary into explanations.
