Introduction

Experimental Engineering promotes curiosity and ingenuity, and will provide an understanding of basic physics principles, laboratory techniques, computer simulations, and scientific writing. This experience will foster an understanding of the methods of scientific investigation and further develop scientific minds. Students will conduct experiments in electric charges, electric field, electric force, ohm's law, and circuit design in addition to the function of electric components such as resisters, capacitors, transistors, diodes, LED, oscillator, and amplifier. They then use these knowledge to build electrical devices such as timers, alarm clocks, digital displays, metronome, and radio.
