AP Calculus AB is roughly equivalent to a first semester college calculus course devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus, including skills of limits, derivatives, definite integrals, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Students will also build upon the content learned in AB to learn varied approaches to calculus through graphs, numbers, analysis, and verbal inquiry as well as make connections among these representations. AP Calculus BC introduces sequences and series and covers topics in differential and integral calculus. Students will utilize technology to problem solve, experiment, interpret and support conclusions. At the end of this course, students will be prepared to take the AP Calculus AB and/or BC exam(s).
